Kano State Local Government Areas

Sumaila Local Government Area is an ancient town doubling as administrative headquarters of Sitti, Masu, Magami, Kanawa, Gediya, Gani, Gala, Rimi, Sumata, Rumo. Sumaila and Garfa.

Takai Local Government Area is a town also serving as the administrative center of the area council, which contains other districts of Zuga, Bagwaro, Fajewa, Faruruwa, Kachako, Karfii, Kuka, Falali, Durbunde and Takai.

Tarauni Local Government Area is situated in the town of Unguwa Uku with the council area covering communities of Unguwar Gano, Ungwar Uku, Kayen Alu, Hotoro, Giadi, Kudu, Gyadi-Awere, Babban Giji, Darmanawa, Durawa and Tarauni.

Tofa Local Government Area is a town and an area headquarters among other communities of the council namely Doka, Dokadawa, Dutwatsu, Fofa, Ginsawa, Kadawa, Kazardawa, Kwami, Lambu, Langel, Rinji, Sabon Gari Katsalle, Yango, Yanoko and Yarimawa.

Tsanyawa LGA is in the town of Tsanyawa with the area council covering Baje, Bumai, Dadarawa, Dadarawa Tsohuwa, Dakwai, Dumbulum, Farsa, Gozaki, Gurun, Harbau, Jamar, Jigilawa, Kabagiwa, Katsale, Kokai Kuka, Kwandawa, Nassarawa, Rafin Tsamiya, Runji etc.

Tundun Wada Local Government Area is in the town of Tundun Wada with its area council consisting of Shuwi, Sumana, Tudun Wada, Wuna, Yar Fulani, Yar Yasa, Yelwa, Baburi Bul, Burun Burun, Dalawa, Fala, Wambai, Gazobi, Hayindenu, Jammaje, Jandutse etc.

Ungogo Local Government Area is located in the town of Ungogo, among other towns of the area council are Adaraye, Alhrani, Amar Zakawa, Bacirawa, Bagujan, Ciromawa, Dankunkuru, Dausayi, Doka, Dorayi, Fanisau, Garinlya, Gayawa, Gera, Hoto Indabo etc.

Warawa Local Government Area is a town in Kano state, serving as an administrative capital of the LGA which have other towns namely Danlassan, Yangizo, Jemagu, Warawa, Imawa, Garin Dau, Tangar and Madari Mata.

Wudil Local Government Area is situated in Wudil town as the headquarters with the council area covering other districts like Utai, Sabon-Gari, Darki lajawa, Kausani, lndabo, Dankaza, Dagumawa, Achika and Wudil.
