Africa Mini Grids Summit

The Africa Mini Grids Summit will take place from April 21st to 24th, 2026. in  Nairobi, Kenya. The event is organized by the Alliance for Rural Electrification.

Highlights at the event will focus on the case for business grids in Africa and on the mechanics behind various implementation models, along with insights on how to surmount the hurdles that are breaking up the industry and expand energy access through mini-grids.

It will create a platform for investors, private-sector key players, government officials, and other potential dignitaries from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and other surrounding countries to come together to discuss how to develop successful mini-grid projects in Africa.
