East Africa Ports Expansion Conference

The 3rd East Africa Ports Expansion Conference is scheduled to hold at Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from the 5th to 7th of February 2019 and is proudly organized by IQPC.

The event will be addressing the biggest challenges and opportunities in developing and operating seaports in East Africa as 90% of trade happens by the sea.

East African ports continue to upgrade their infrastructure in order to improve efficiency, reduce transit time, and deliver world-class service.

And this will enable them to

  • Learn how ports across Africa plan to increase in port connectivity and cargo throughput,
  • Gain insights into the most cost-effective, up-to-date technologies to increase port’s capacity,
  • Investigate how to overcome port space, logistical and documentation challenges when expanding ports,
  • Discuss with industry experts the challenges of port security.

Attendees to the event include environmental planning expert/advisor, head of the engineering department, port/marine operation director, head of master planning, head of construction, and lots more.

And the attendees will be from industries such as Port Authorities, Oil & Gas Operators, Consulting Engineers, Product Suppliers and Manufacturers, Planning & Design Consultants, and more.
