Workshop on Pragmatics Research

Theme: "Pragmatics of (Mis)Representation in Human Communication"

National Workshop on Pragmatics Research is an annual event for pragmatics, which is scheduled to hold on 10th – 13th May 2022 at the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria, and is organized by The Pragmatics Association of Nigeria (PrAN) in conjunction with The Department of English and Literature, UNIBEN.

The 5th national conference on pragmatics will be featuring students, nonmembers, and those who will only participate in the training workshop on the theme of the event, and be exposed to core/new theories of pragmatics & their applications.

Also, other participants in the event will partake in the training workshop and present papers either on the theme of the workshop or any pragmatically relevant topic.

 The event will create an opportunity for the participants to have a pre-workshop symposium on theories of pragmatics and also build networks and form professional partnerships in the discipline. As a member, you will have access to current information.
