Miss CommonWealth Nigeria Pageant

Miss CommonWealth Nigeria Beauty Pageant is an annual beauty contest organized by Strud Models International Limited to empower young ladies to learn to utilize their talents for the benefit of the people and the environment.

It normally holds during the second quarter of every year, particularly, in the month of August but the organizers are yet to decide on a date for 2024. 

This unique beauty pageant is one of the projects sponsored by CommonWealth as a means of empowering women through beauty contests and also to promote, protect, and project the diverse cultures of the people.

Commonwealth Nigeria Pageant was initiated to fish out talented women among others and pave way for them to display that which is within them to the public.

The winner of the Commonwealth Nigeria Beauty Pageants receives a great reward for emerging in the competition and assuming office as Miss Commonwealth Nigeria for a period of one calendar year after which another beauty pageant will be organized for her to hand over to the winner.

Just like other beauty pageants, the winner is supposed to embark on a project that will affect the lives of Nigerian women positively while she should remain single throughout her reign as Miss CommonWealth Nigeria.

Miss Juliet Iveren Akighir won Miss Commonwealth Nigeria North in the last contest held in 2019. The entire Commonwealth Nigeria Pageant family celebrated her in a special way.

This beauty pageant has positively affected the lives of most young women in Nigeria.

Mission:

To promote modeling, fashion, and style development through beauty contests and also to promote the established way of life of the people.

CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION:

Any lady who wants to contest in this beauty pageant

-         Must be 25 years of age.

-         Must be single

-         Must be an indigene of Nigeria by birth.

-         Must be physically and mentally stable.

-         Must accept to carry out duties assigned if eventually, you won.

The registrations for Commonwealth Nigeria Pageant 2023/2024 began in June 2024, and auditions will be held at different zones across the country, and the contestants selected will compete at the Final Event (grand finale) in Lagos probably in the month of August 2024.
