2024 African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire

The 2024 Africa cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire which is also known to be the Total 2024 Africa Cup of Nations is the 34th edition of the African cup of Nations.

It is organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Cote d’Ivoire will host the 2024 Africa cup of nations and it is scheduled to start between January and February 2024.

It is a biennial event. Initially, the 34th edition was scheduled to hold in June 23rd to July 23rd, 2023 but due to the heavy rainfall that was predicted for that period, was shifted to January and February 2024.

How Many Times This Cup Won by Different Countries

Cameroon is known to be one of the most successful nations in terms of the history of the Africa cup of nations. They have won the tournament for a record five times (1984, 1988, 2000, 2002, and 2017).

Egypt has won the tournament a record seven times (1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008, 2010).

Tunisia won the African cup of Nations once in the year 2004, as the tournament host then.

Morocco won the Africa cup of the nation once (1976).

Nigeria has won the Africa cup of Nations 3 times (1980, 1994, 2013).

Algeria has won the Africa cup of Nations twice in the years 1990 and 2019.

Ivory Coast, has won the Africa cup of Nations 2 times in the years 1992 and 2015.

Ghana has won the Africa cup of Nations four times (1963, 1965, 1978, 1982).

DR Congo, have won the Africa cup of the nation 2 times in the years 1968 and 1974.

South Africa, has won the Africa cup of the nation once in the year 1996.
