45th Kaduna, Nigeria International Trade Fair

45th 2024 Kaduna fair and shows is an annual event, and a famous African trade show organised by the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADCCIMA) will be held from 23rd Ferbuary - 3rd March 2024.

This yearly event is organised by the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KADCCIMA).

It will accommodate both local and international businesses ranging from manufacturers to retailers, suppliers, distributors, and more.

This year attracts companies from China, India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Iran, Pakistan, Cameroon, and the Niger Republic who indicated interest to participate in this show.

The fair will also feature expositions of the latest products and technology on electronics, phones, herbal supplements, kitchen equipment, and a wide variety of Nigerian and international-made products.

This international trade fair in Kaduna will also create job opportunities for unemployed youths and also boost the economic activities of the state.

Kaduna Nigeria International Trade Fair is one of the largest international trade exhibitions in Nigeria that gathers producers and manufacturers of goods and services exhibiting their latest products for sales purposes and business promotion. 

Kaduna International Trade Fair is regarded as the major annual event in the calendar of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce and industry. 

The fair initially started as a biannual event as a domestic fair focusing on the agricultural sector in the year 1974, the event continued until the year 1979 when the fair became internationally planned on an annual basis. 

The first Kaduna International Trade Fair started in February 1979, at Murtala Mohammed Square, and recorded a total number of 205 exhibitors participated. 

The event continued to develop greatly providing an avenue for the promotion of every aspect of economic sectors through international and national partnerships. 

It also provides and encourages the development of industries and industrial inputs; the event also creates a conducive atmosphere between Nigeria and other nations for joint venture projects in all areas of the economy. 

It is a unique event that occurs annually in Kaduna state because it plays a very crucial role in the overall economic, social, as well as industrial development of the nation's economy. 

The fair attracts producers and manufacturers of goods and services from across the globe to exhibit their products, which helps in the promotion of business. 

Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) is currently seeking the support of trade groups and foreign investors ahead of the 2021 edition of the international trade fair in Kaduna. The fair also boasts all aspects of economic sectors through the cooperation of national and international sectors. 

The KADCCIMA president disclosed that they have been a large turnout both internationally and locally that has indicated interest to participate in the fair.

He stated that over 70 international and local exhibitors are expected at this year's event. Some of the countries he mentioned are; Pakistan, India, Cameroon, China, Niger Republic, Egypt, Bangladesh, and Iran have so far indicated interest to be part of the fair. 

He also said that the fair is expected to declare open around February 2021, by President Muhammed Buhari, while the Governor of the Kaduna state, Malam Nasir el-Rufai will be the chief host.

The president of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Dr. Muheeba F. Dankaba, also disclosed that among the lined-up events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the International Trade Fair is a quiz competition that will hold between senior secondary school students from the 19 northern states and also a business roundtable. 

Participants in the events will include local and international visitors from neighboring countries, investors, manufacturers, marketers and distributors, the ECOWAS sub-region, and beyond.
