Nasarawa State Local Government Areas

Akwanga LGA is located in the commercial town of Akwanga and the area consists of the districts of Akwanga East, Akwanga West, Nunku, Ningo, Moroa, Gwanje, Gudi, Andaha, Anchobaba, Ancho, Nigha'an, Angwan Zaria, Anjida and Boher.

Awe LGA has its headquarters in the town of Awe, and the council consists the districts of Awe, Azaara & Tunga, as each of the districts contains communities, villages and clans like Barkano, Baure, Booga, Gidrin Kadai, Hassan Gayam, Jagan Gari, Jangara.

Doma LGA is one of the local gvoernment area in the state with its headquarters in Doma Town, as the area council is made up of the towns and communities of Doma, Doka, Rubuki, Sarkin, Dawaki, Ungwan, Madoki, Agbashi, Alagye, Gidanrai and Akpanaja.

Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State is located in the new town of Karu and the council consists of the towns and communities of Kondoro, Tattara, Karshi, Aso, Gurkur, Gitata, Kodape, Agada, Uke and Baggi.

Keana LGA is situated in the town of Keana and the area contains the districts of Oki, Obene, Kardarko, Kwara, Iwagu, Giza Madaki, Giza Galadima, Amiri, Aloshi, and Agaza.

Keffi LGA is a commercial town in Nasarawa, also the administrative headquarters of the local government area, which is made of the towns and communities of Keffi East, Yara, Sabon Gari, Liman Abaji, Kofar Goriya, Jigwada, Gangare Tudu, Angwan Iya etc.

Kokona LGA is located in the town of Kokona with other villages & districts like Yelwa, Koya, Kana, Kofar Gwari, Kufan Gwari, Hadari, Garaku, Dari, Amba, Agwada, Atama, Audun Galadima, Auguwan Kuramai, Bakin Ayeni, Bassan Zarangi, Bazariye, Doma, Endo etc

Lafia LGA is the state capital of Nasarawa state & also the headquarters of Lafia LGA and the council consists of the districts and villages of Barikin Abdullahi, Lafia, Assokio, Keffi Wambai, Zanwa, Shabu, Kwandere, Mokama, Sarkin Pada, Barkin Rijiya etc

Nasarawa Egon LGA is situated in the town of Nasarawa Egon and its consists the districts of Ende, Ginda, Alizaga, Arugbadu, Bakyano, Nass/Eggon, Sako, Umme, Agunji, Alogani, Arikpa, Ezzen, Wakama, Angbaku, Buba, Galle, Gbamze, Ogbagi, Wogan, Ubbe & more.

Nasarawa LGA is one of the serving local government council in the state with its administrative headquarters in the town of Nasarawa, & the area contains the districts of Loko, Udege, Bakono, Guto Aguba, Aissa, Angewa, Ataga, Ayele, Aza, Dora, Gwafa etc.

Obi LGA is located in the town of Obi which situated in the southern end of Nasarawa State and the area is made of the districts of Zhemegli, Adudu, Agwatashi, Deddere, Tudun Adabu, Duduguru, Gidan Ausa, Riri, Akanga, Atabara, Abiuga, Agrugwa, Agwade etc.

Toto LGA of the state has its administrative headquarters in Toto town and the area has districts of Gada, Toto, Umaisha, Gwargwada, Ugya, Shege, Shatan Kwato, Katakpa, Kanyehu, Gadagwa, Dausu, Bugakarmo, Abebasen, Akureba, Akwashi, Araba, Buga, and more,

Wamba LGA is located in the town of Wamba, as the area consists the districts & communities of Wamba as the area Wamba West, Wamba East, Mangar, Angba, Jimiya, Angbo, Dechu, Gbagi, Gbata, Gbogi Ugu, Gbombu, Gbriji, Gbude, Gitta Barmo, Gitta Kasa, etc.
