Onitsha North Local Government Area is headquartered in Onitsha Town and Onitsha is the only town that make up the Local Government Area.

Anambra West LGA is domiciled at the town of Nzam, one of the 21 LGAs in the state with the composition of the following towns of Ezianam, ifite-Anam, Nzam, Olumbanasa, Oroma-Etiti, Umueze-Anam & Umuenwelum-Anam, which is under the council administration.

Awka North Local Government Area has its headquarters at Achalla Town and amongst the 21 serving LGAs in the state and the towns of Achalla, Amansea, Amanuke, Ebenebe, Isu-Aniocha, Mgbakwu, Ugbene, Ugbu-enu and Urum made up the LGA.

Orumba South Local Government Area is in Umunze Town and the towns that the LGA council covers are Agbudu, Ezira, Eziagu, Enugwu-Umuonyia ihite, Isulo, Ndiokpoleze, Nkerehi, Ogboji, Ogbunka, Onneh, Owerre-Ezukala, Umunzem and Umuomoku.

Ogbaru LGA is in the town of Atani and the LG comprises of Akili Ogidi, Atani, Akili Ozizor, Amiyi, Mputu, Obeagwe, Ohita, Odekpe, Ogbakugba, Ochuche Umuodu, Ossomala, Ogwu-Aniocha, Umunankwo, Umuzu, Okpoko and Ogwu Ikpere.
