OBI LGA has its administrative headquarter in the town of Obarike-Ito and the area consist districts of Ito, Adudu, Agwatashi, Akanga, Uwokwu and Igede, as each of the district contains villages and clans farming in the local government area of the state.

Katsina-Ala is a major town and also the headquarters of the Katsina-Ala local government council and the area is made of the districts of Katsina-ota, Gbor, Ammatu, Tor-Donga, Abaji, Sai, Harga, Mbaton and Gbise.
